6.6. System of recirculation of exhaust gases

GENERAL INFORMATION

This system directs a part of exhaust gases back to an inlet collector for burning in the subsequent steps of operation of the engine. It reduces the maintenance of an oxide of nitrogen in exhaust gases. The amount of the recirculated gases is controlled by the recirculation valve installed in an inlet collector.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature.
2. Remove the air filter.
3. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the valve of recirculation and connect to it the vacuum pump. At increase in depression the speed of operation of the engine in the mode of idling has to decrease at least by 100 rpm.
4. If is not present, check a hose and the valve. Clear or replace the valve if it is necessary.
