6.25. System of production of the fulfilled gases

GENERAL INFORMATION

Arm of fastening of forward section of the exhaust system to the block of tsilinr – model C 14 NV


The system of production of the fulfilled gases needs to be examined periodically on existence of leaks or damages. Also check a condition of rubber fastenings. The system consists of four sections, each of which can be replaced separately.

FORWARD SECTION

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and install it on support.
2. Remove the oxygen sensor. Turn off two fixing bolts and disconnect forward section from the intermediate muffler (a photo at the left – model C 14 NZ, a photo on the right – the C14 SE model).
3. Remove a sealing ring.
4. Remove forward section from an arm on the block of cylinders (see rice. An arm of fastening of forward section of the exhaust system to the block of tsilinr – model C 14 NV).
5. Turn off the fixing bolts fixing a reception tube to a final collector and remove forward section.
6. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Replace laying and sealing rings.

THE INTERMEDIATE MUFFLER OR THE CATHOLIC CONVERTER (DEPENDING ON THE COMPLETE SET) – THE SONC MODELS

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and install it on support.
2. Disconnect forward section of the exhaust system from the intermediate muffler (or the converter). Remove a sealing ring and springs.
3. Turn off fixing bolts and disconnect the intermediate muffler (or the converter) from the central section of the exhaust system. Remove a sealing ring, laying and springs.
4. Remove the muffler (or the catalytic converter) from the car.
5. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

CENTRAL SECTION

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and install it on support.
2. Turn off bolts of collars (a photo on the right) and disconnect the central section from back section (a photo at the left).
3. Turn off fixing bolts and nuts and disconnect the central section from the intermediate muffler. Remove a sealing ring.
4. Remove the central section from fastenings.
5. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Use new laying.

BACK SECTION

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the central section.
2. Remove back section from rubber fastenings.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.
