5.1.3. System of adjustment of temperature of the arriving air

GENERAL INFORMATION

Intake of cold external air and hot air from a final collector is regulated by the air gate which position is controlled by a vacuum diaphragm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a hose of supply of hot air from a final collector (a photo at the left) and check that the gate closed intake of hot air (a photo on the right). Start the engine and check that the gate opened for intake of hot air.
2. Connect a hose of supply of hot air into place and warm up the engine. Again disconnect a hose and check that the gate gave access to both hot and cold air.
3. If the system of adjustment of temperature of the arriving air is faulty, replace the air filter.
