5.1.16. Automatic air gate

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Remove the air filter.
3. Clear the carburetor outside.
4. Mark the provision of installation of a casing of a bimetallic spiral (are led round by a circle). Then turn off three fixing screws and remove a casing.
5. Turn off three fixing screws fixing a casing of the air gate to the carburetor and remove the air gate.
6. For removal of a casing of a bimetallic spiral disconnect cooling system hoses. Disconnect the socket of connection of a spiral and remove a casing.
7. For removal of a casing of the cooling system from a casing of a bimetallic spiral, turn off the central fixing bolt. Remove sealing rings.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Install a casing of the air gate on the carburetor and tighten three fixing screws.
2. Check and adjust a gap of the air gate and the provision of a cam of bystry idling.
3. Connect a bimetallic spiral to the lever of the air gate, establish a casing of a spiral and tighten fixing screws.
4. If it is necessary, establish a cooling system casing on a casing of a bimetallic spiral, using new sealing rings, and connect water hoses. Connect the socket of connection of a spiral.
5. Further installation is carried out upside-down removals.

Adjustment

Adjustment of a cam of bystry idling

1 – cam of bystry idling;

2 – adjusting lever;

3 – lever of the air gate;

4 – adjusting screw;

And – a gap of the air gate

Gap of the air gate

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a casing of a bimetallic spiral.
2. Turn the lever of the air gate up to the end clockwise and enshrine it in this provision by means of an elastic band.
3. Completely open a butterfly valve and measure a gap between the lower party of the air gate and a wall of primary camera.
4. Adjust the size of a gap (V), having turned in the adjusting lever (2) (1 – the lever of the air gate).
5. Upon completion of adjustment establish a casing of a bimetallic spiral into place.

Provision of a cam of bystry idling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a casing of a bimetallic spiral and check a gap of the air gate (see rice. Adjustment of a cam of bystry idling).
2. Open a butterfly valve, then close the air gate, having pressed on the lever of the air gate. Close a butterfly valve.
3. Check that the adjusting screw of bystry idling rested against the second tooth on a cam of bystry idling.
4. If adjustment is necessary, check installation of a returnable spring of the air gate, then turn in the lever (2) (see rice. Adjustment of a cam of bystry idling).
5. Upon completion of adjustment establish a casing of a bimetallic spiral into place.

Adjustment of speed of bystry idling

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check the speed of idling and composition of fuel mix before adjustment of speed of bystry idling.
2. Warm up the engine up to the normal working temperature and establish a tachometer.
3. Install the adjusting screw (3) on the second tooth of a cam of bystry idling (4).
4. Start the engine, without concerning an accelerator pedal, and check the speed of bystry idling.
5. If adjustment is necessary, kill the engine and remove a safety cap (it is specified by an insole) from the adjusting screw.
6. Check that the adjusting screw was installed on the second top tooth of a cam, then again start the engine, without concerning an accelerator pedal.
7. Adjust the speed of bystry idling, having tightened up the adjusting screw.
