The Pieburg 2E3 carburetor is a two-chamber carburetor with consecutive opening of gates (see rice. View of the carburetor sideways 1, rice. View of the carburetor sideways 2, rice. View of the carburetor sideways 3). The system of idling works irrespective of the main dosing system, the composition of mix is controlled by the adjusting screw. For sufficient saturation of fuel mix at full opening of butterfly valves the concentrating valve is used. The carburetor uses completely automatic air gate. Fuel level in the float-operated camera is not subject to adjustment.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Remove the air filter.
3. Disconnect fuel hoses from the carburetor.
4. Get to the check on the end of a rope of an accelerator, get the rope plug from an arm and disconnect a rope from the lever of a butterfly valve.
5. Disconnect cooling system hoses from a casing of the air gate.
6. Disconnect two vacuum tubes on the forward party of the carburetor.

7. Disconnect the socket of connection of a heating element of the air gate.

8. Turn off three fixing nuts (A) fixing screws of a cover (V), remove the carburetor.
9. Remove laying and the isolating block.
10. Installation is carried out upside-down removals. Replace laying.

Diagnostics of malfunctions

Malfunctions of the carburetor are usually caused by hit in the carburetor of dirt and foreign particles which litter jets and channels of the carburetor.

Before repair of the carburetor check an ignition advancing corner, a condition of spark plugs and the air filter.

If it did not eliminate malfunction, the carburetor needs to be removed for cleaning and a partition.

Partition and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. After removal of the carburetor, clear it outside. Then turn off four fixing screws of a cover of the carburetor, having remembered their arrangement.
2. Uncover the carburetor and laying.
3. Blow jets and channels in a carburetor cover compressed air (1 – the main fuel jet of primary camera, 2 – the main fuel jet of the secondary camera).
4. Replace the fuel filter in the fuel supply pipeline.
5. Clear the float-operated camera of foreign particles.
6. For further repair of the carburetor address experts.
7. Assembly of the carburetor is carried out upside-down to dismantling. Use new laying and consolidations.
