3.1.22. Fastening of the engine and transmission

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix on racks.
2. Check rubber shock-absorbers of fastenings for existence of cracks and damages. If necessary replace fastenings.
3. Check whether bolts and nuts of fastenings are well tightened.
4. Check fastenings having hooked them the big screw-driver, if necessary make replacement.

Replacement

RIGHT FASTENING

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift a forward part of the car and fix it on support.
2. Slightly raise the engine by means of the elevator.
3. Unscrew an engine arm from the block of cylinders and a support from a body (1 – a tape, 2 – the planes of a bent shaft are joined to an internal gear wheel of the pump).
4. Disconnect a support from an arm.
5. Attach a new support to an arm.
6. Fix an arm on the block of cylinders.
7. Grease support bolts with sealant and tighten them.
8. Lower the engine and lower the car on the earth.

LEFT FASTENING

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix the engine on the elevator.
2. Unscrew an arm of the engine (1) and transmission from the transmission and unscrew a support (2) from a body.
3. Disconnect a support from an arm and establish a new support.
4. Check a condition of fixing bolts.
5. Establish and fix by bolts an arm.
6. Establish a support and lower the engine and the car.

BACK FASTENING


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Fix the engine on the elevator.
2. Unscrew a support (nuts of back fastening are specified by shooters a photo at the left) and an arm (it is specified by an arrow a photo on the right).
3. Establish a new support.
4. Lower the engine and the car.
