FORWARD EPIPLOON

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a camshaft asterisk.
2. Punch or drill a small opening in an epiploon.
3. Screw in a screw in an opening and pull for it to take an epiploon.
4. Clean an epiploon groove.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Wrap up the end of the camshaft a thin tape not to damage a new epiploon.
2. Oil a new epiploon and hammer it into place.
3. Shoot the film from the end of a shaft.
4. Establish an asterisk.

BACK EPIPLOON – 1,4 l and 1,6 l

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the distributor of ignition or the coil from a back part of a head of cylinders.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In engines volume 1,4l, C 16 NZ, X 16 SZ, the back epiploon of the camshaft has the form of the ring fixed on a back part of the distributor. Remove an old epiploon by means of the screw-driver, establish a new epiploon and install the distributor into place.
2. In engines C 16 SE the epiploon has the form of the ring fixed on a back part of an adjusting plate of the coil. Unscrew three fixing bolts of a basic plate of the coil and remove a plate from a head of cylinders. Take an old epiploon, establish new and establish a plate into place.

BACK EPIPLOON – C 18 NZ, C20 NE

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the ignition distributor.
2. Take an epiploon and clean an epiploon groove.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Oil a new epiploon and hammer it into place. Install the ignition distributor.
