Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a steering wheel and the lock of ignition.
2. Having wrung out fixing latches, remove two switches from a steering column and disconnect connection sockets.
3. Uncover the block of safety locks and the panel closing an opening in the dashboard under a steering column.
4. Turn off and remove the top coupling bolt (1) and a plastic disk (2), the fixing shaft of a steering column to flexible rubber connection.
5. Lift a plastic disk from below of a steering column and insert it into a steering column.
6. Turn off the bolt fixing a steering column to an arm on the dashboard (it is specified by an arrow).
7. The top fixing arm fastens by means of a nut and a srezny bolt. Turn off a nut and drill a bolt. Be accurate not to damage the dashboard.
8. Remove a steering column from the car.
9. Installation is carried out upside-down removals.

Removal of elements

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a drum of the lock of a steering column.
2. Squeeze out ignition lock casing caps, then turn a casing counterclockwise and remove it from a steering column.
3. Beat out or squeeze out the bearing (see rice. Elements of a steering column).
4. The lock of ignition fastens to a casing by means of two screws. Turn off screws and remove the switch (see rice. An ignition lock casing in a section).
5. Turn off and remove the top coupling bolt of flexible connection and remove a shaft of a steering column.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a plastic centering disk from below of a steering column.
2. Insert a shaft into a steering column, establish it in flexible connection and establish the top coupling bolt.
3. Put the ignition lock.
4. Establish a casing of the lock of a steering column, using new safety caps.
5. Lift a shaft of a steering column up and tighten a coupling bolt of flexible connection.
6. Further assembly of elements is carried out upside-down dismantling.
