11.2. Rack of a forward suspension bracket

GENERAL INFORMATION

Elements of a rack of a forward suspension bracket


1 – laying of the top fastening;

2 – bearing;

3 – top saddle of a spring and damping ring;

4 – covers and rubber emphasis;

5 – spring;

6 – lower saddle of a spring

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the ABS wheel sensor and remove wires from a rack.
2. Remove a brake support.
3. Disconnect the spherical hinge, the fixing tip of steering thirst for a suspension bracket rack.
4. Turn off a nut of fastening of a nave. Remove a nut and a washer.
5. Disconnect the spherical hinge, the fixing lower lever of a suspension bracket to a suspension bracket rack.
6. Get the external end of a half shaft from a nave.
7. In a motive compartment turn off two nuts fixing a suspension bracket rack to a body (are specified by shooters).
8. Remove a suspension bracket rack from the car.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish the top part of a rack into place and tighten fixing nuts.
2. Grease half shaft vents with molybdenic lubricant and establish it in a nave. Establish a new washer and acquire a fixing nut.
3. Install the spherical hinge of the lower lever on a rack of a suspension bracket and tighten a fixing nut till the required inhaling moment. Establish new to the check.
4. Tighten a new nut of fastening of a nave in steps till the required inhaling moment.
5. Install the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft on a suspension bracket rack.
6. Establish a brake support.
7. Install the ABS sensor.
8. Establish wheels and lower the car on the earth.
9. Check adjustment of forward wheels.

Partition

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a nave, the bearing and a brake disk.
2. Clamp a rack in a vice and squeeze a spring the compressor of springs.
3. Remove a plastic casing from above of a rack.
4. Turn off a nut on a shock-absorber piston rod.
5. Remove laying of the top fastening and the bearing.
6. Remove the top saddle of a spring and a damping ring, then release the compressor and remove a spring.
7. Remove covers and a rubber emphasis.
8. For removal of the shock-absorber turn off (a photo at the left) and remove (a photo on the right) a nut with turnkey openings.
9. Remove a shock-absorber cartridge.
10. Check a piston stroke of the shock-absorber and replace it if it is necessary.
11. Examine all elements on existence of wear tracks or damages and replace them if it is necessary (see rice. Elements of a rack of a forward suspension bracket).
12. Establish a shock-absorber cartridge on a rack and establish a nut with turnkey openings. Tighten a nut till the required inhaling moment.
13. Establish and squeeze a spring, establish a rubber emphasis and covers.
14. Establish the top saddle of a spring and a damping ring.
15. Grease the bearing and establish it on a rack.
16. Establish laying of the top fastening.
17. Tighten a nut on a shock-absorber piston rod till the required inhaling moment.
18. Remove the spring compressor.
19. Install a rack on the car.
